Avoids the worst part of the cave start, but still punchy off the ground before settling into better holds above.   Anchors are just out of sight in the easier terrain above.   Sun most of the day.  Stick clip!

Comes out the lip of the Lair roof and ascends some mildly overhanging terrain to anchors just out of sight.   Maybe a little soft at 11c?   Sun most of the day.  Definitely needs to be stick clipped (at least the first bolt, or safer yet the first two).

It got its name (as did

Murphy

) because it took several trips to get this route established after being thwarted with broken drills, weather, etc...   Plenty of morning sun on cold days makes for a quick warm up.

We had a difference of opinion on the grade of this climb and its relative difficulty compared to

Thwarted

to the right, so we just called them both 9+.  You decide!   Morning sun.   Either stick clip and pull a move off the ground or start on the route to the right (with an obvious low bolt in direcltly  a cobble) and traverse left to to get the first bolt of

Murphy
