This classic problem takes a proud line directly up the middle of the large boulder near

False Up 20

(V0-), and sits directly across the road from Double Cross. Depending on how tall you are there are a few different starting holds, but thin holds are the name of the game on this problem. Don't breath too hard as you might blow yourself off the crux, but as you hit that last hold with your right hand, rest assured that the final throw for the lip might look far but that hold is huge!

Left of the JBMFP is this striking right-slanting arête problem. Start with one hand on the arête and another on a small edge and then bump up to a good sloper, g

et into balance and then rail out the arête all the way to the top of the boulder. Crux comes at the end with a long reach for the lip. Taller climbers seem to have a slight advantage on this problem.

This short slab problem is located on the west face of the JBMFP Boulder, just right of the more difficult Hensel Face (V2). Starting off a shelf of rock, climb edges up a smooth slab to a finishing jug. One star out of five.

Start up True Grit but pull onto the slab early.

A fun rounded mantleshelf.

Stretch up and reach the holds on the rounded lip.   Now mantle them.

After a jump start, or a pad assisted step up,  onto two jugs you dyno onto the lip and finish off this short but entertaining route.

Right of the JBMFP on the right arete is this short but sweet problem. Start with your right hand on the corner and left on a sloping edge/pinch and punch up the slightly overhanging arete via powerful and balancy moves. Three stars out of five.

Start on the JBMF Descent Route, but instead of topping out to the right, move up the crack to the left and traverse along the jugs and flakes that will take you past Penny Pincher. With a right hand on the traverse jug, continue to bump your left hand up the large arete, with nothing but slab feet to keep you up. Once your left gets high enough you'll find a great left hand rail to help you top out over the left side of the arete's peak.

As the name implies, this is the standard downclimb from the JBMF Boulder as well as the easiest problem on the boulder. A thin move at the bottom leads to a good edge and a juggy flake to more jugs at the top. Note - there is some evidence of rockfall from this climb but what's left seems solid. One star out of five.

This delicate slab problem is located on the west face of the JBMFP Boulder, just around the corner from the Lechlinski Corner.

Starting from the edge of a shelf with your right foot on a small crack, work up and left on the improbable slab via small crimps/crystals for your hands and sloping smears for your feet to a finishing jug. A good spot is necessary on this as it has a bad fall potential, especially near the start. One star out of five.
