Wander back into the corridor to sample the tasty dark-chocolate brown rock which is split by a beautiful, but oh so short, thin crack. A thin crack that favors those with smaller digits, it sports the odd face hold, making it somewhat easier than appearances might first suggest. Gear belay and walk off to the south. One star out of five.

Tooth Decay

This is the bolts to an overhanging crack, just around the corner of Tooth Decay.  Kind of a wavelike look to it.

This is the easiest route on the formation, and the original.  A corner start leads to a slightly overhanging layback/fingers crack up the south side of the rock.  A tall, scary boulder problem or a fairly serious runout lead.  Orignally one had to jump-off to a lower boulder via the north side.

This shortie climbs a steep face of chocolate brown varnish. Worth doing after sending the crack next door.

The most prominent crack system up the center of the east face of Top Hat Rock (the tallest rock of the large formation that The Molar is a part of) that leads all the way up to the summit.  Easy climbing up the summit block to the very top, but no gear placements up there, though plentiful below on the highest ledge.  This route faces Meteorite Crack across the way on the John Yablonski Rock.  Cool views from top.  [Found no documentation for this climb in any of the guidebooks.  If anyone has specific FA info, feel free to overwrite.]
