As of May 16, 2018, there is a raven's next with eggs. Consider not climbing this to allow the birds to succeed in breeding.

This route climbs the wall just left of a grungy crack system just left of the groove. It's a bit runout compared to other routes in the area.

In the Groove

Tater Tot is well-bolted and fun 5.8+ or maybe 5.9 if you're not use to a little slab climbing. It's not all slab climbing, but there's a few smear moves. This is easy to toprope as well, but it has some rope drag, so you might want a long anchor system to extend the anchor over the lip of the climb. The climb is named after my nephew Tate, born Feb. 2020.

(5.10). It’s 4 bolts to a double bolt anchor with chains. In the photo, it's the line with the rope on it.

An excellent route on the face of Groove Rock, this is the bolted slab on the west face, just right of the water groove. Short folks will have trouble getting off the ground. Do a short boulder problem to easy slab, and follow 4 bolts. The first bolt is about 20' up. This has some real friction climbing at the very top and very good rock.

The crux is the start, move on to face, and climb using the left side arete.  There are bolts for pro and bolts on top.

This is the prominent water groove on the left side of the formation. The guidebook calls it 5.11a, but it feels pretty stout for the grade. Clip a high first bolt, position yourself in the groove and stem, smear, and struggle desperately to the anchor. This route shares an anchor with an unknown two bolt route to the right. It is a cool feature.
