A quality, pure mantle problem. Start matched on the sloper lip, move up to a small crystal, and crank.

Fun arete on Glued Edge boulder just west of The Sloth.  I traversed in from the far R side of the rail and thought that added to the experience.

Pleasant if a bit scrabbly little line. Start with hands on the left side of the arete, work up through two beautiful rails. Try your damndest not to let your right foot skate like hell on the face, and use your left foot on the left when you can. You may do it right away with some scrap, but it's nice to do cleanly.

Start on good low crimps campus / deadpoint trough two more crimps and a jug. Don't underestimate the mantle

This is for sure the hardest line on this side of the boulder, as far as I'm concerned. If you have super stiff shoes, which thankfully I did, you can stand on small sharp edges that jut out from wall about 2-3mm. Otherwise, you're stuck. No smearing up this slick devil.

Short but fun. Sit down with left hand undercling pinch, right hand side pull. Hug the block up through bad holds. Easy top out.

On the same boulder as Big Baby Jesus, on the opposite side of the boulder

Start low on an arete with a right sidepull crimp and a right triangular shaped crimp.  move left onto a sloping lip, eventually traversing onto a good hold to the far left.  mantle up the slab to the finish

Nice little line. Start on two edges on the face (or matched as low as possible for bonus moves), and rock up off of a cool foot edge to juggy glory.

Start on opposing side crimps on the SW arete, strong pull on then a few moves to the top.

High quality problem with great holds, a nice big move in the middle, and a fun mantel to top it off. Start low on obvious holds.

An inobvious problem up an obvious face. Make a high reach to awful slopers located in the middle of the face. Pull on and deadpoint up to a small left hand crimp. Get stood on top of the slab and follow jugs to the top.

There is some grain but should clean up nicely.

Per WikiBoulder: Stand start at large bucket. Steep pulls on good holds lead to a tricky lip encounter. Once mantled, follow the slabby arete to obvious jug and top of the boulder.

Unique problem. Start by stepping up onto the large footledge, and jump to the good edge on the face. Finish straight up on pleasant holds for an enjoyable topout.

A siren's call. Start matched on an obvious rail, campus a couple moves, and then traverse right to the oblique triangle feature. Once you make it to this blunt arete/triangle, head up on tenuous moves. It looks like no problem up there, but it's actually fairly committing, and for sure you're in the no fall zone.

Wear your tight shoes, and maybe consider setting up a toprope, or at least giving the upper section a good brushing before you embark.

Beautiful boulder! Start on a right facing side pull and move up and slightly left on good holds. Topout includes a dynamic move, can be dangerous if you fall... So just don't fall

Great movement on little edges. I think there's a couple ways to go here, but I started with my right hand on a sloping sidepull in a tiny dihedral up on the wall at the 6 foot mark, and then climbed up and left until manteled on the sloping ramp. From there, follow the ramp up and left and top out. This line will have you trusting your feet on little edges.

start low on the lip, traverse right on slopers and sharp crimps to a mantel slab top out over the pit of death.

The most little cottonwood of little cottonwood boulders. Strong fingers on sloping crystals characterize the stone (as well as lots of LCC kitty litter, which detracts a star). Complex, subtle movement will get you to the top.

Of note, most of the boulder is safe and pleasant, except for the last couple of moves. If you miss those, you fall down into the lower pit, and the landing is uneven down there. You'll want as many pads as you can get.

Stout little thing. MB started laying down on the lowest holds possible. I found it to be a bit more obvious just to sit start with the left hand sidepull and right hand seam. Make a tough deadpoint to the slopey right hand sidepull, then don't fall.

Start with right hand on good sidepull at chest height and left hand on sloper/crimp at head height, paste your feet on and dino to the jug close to the lip. Easy top out follows.

This slab is well worth doing. You'll find some nice edges. This line is substantially easier than most of the rest on this wall, and is probably more like v1ish.

Not sure where Tanner got the name for this one for his online guide.

A strange shorty on cool rock. Sit/squat start with a good right hand crimp and a grainy sidepull slot for the left. Pull on and make a series of bumps up bad holds with the left, before lunging for the bucket lip. Hold the swing and get ready to bonk your noggin.

Start with crimps at shoulder height on arete; head up and right

Gnarly little one mover behind Mini Maisch.

Start left hand on the obvious pinch, right hand on a low sloper. Pull on and slap for the lip. Easy finish.

Hard to grade, somewhere in the v9-v11 range

The BB has this as a nameless V4 on the T.J. Boulder. The LCC app added the name “Teej’s Sister”.

Start on left hand side crimp and right hand on the arete, then climb up. Short quickie. Softer V4. Starting lower with the right hand may go, but seems like a harder grade.

Campus start leads to cool balancey movement up a ramp, then a committing move at the top.

Climb slopers and small edges on LHS of Arete

Start on jugs in the cave and move out the roof. You can finish out left, up the middle, or out left. All around the same grade. The tree does seem the get in the way a bit.

Step onto the boulder using a foot edge found beneath the low roof.  Traverse left to the arete.  Turn the arete and move into the dihedral.  Climb the dihedral to the top.

Perfect arete climbing that flows super well to a committing topout over a sloping rocky landing below. Well worth the effort.

Per the black, it's also nice to finish up and right on the slab, but I can't speak to it.

This is the sit start to El Chupacabra, and the name plays well on the theme of Latin America mythology.

About as good as it gets in Little Cottonwood, or on granite boulders, for that matter.

climb through slabby moves on tiny crystals with a huge starting hold in the pit to an easy mantle

Same start as Traverse into Slappy White, (sitting on NE arete) but mantle on the left side of the bulge to finish.

Start with RH on good crimp at shoulder height and left hand on the undercling under the roof. Slap with the left to the starting hold of toolshed and finish as with toolshed.

Start on crimps in a horizontal crack 6 feet up. Find some acceptable footholds and make a very tough move to a gritty, sloping, horizontal pinch. Easy topout on jugs at the lip.

Another awesome technical line on the Cube Boulder. Cool features and great movement.

Start with a sharp left hand sidepull and get stood up into the underclings. Work through tiny crimps and some hard foot moves to gain the lip. There are probably a few different ways to do it.

The only detracting factor is how sharp the holds are.

Start on two cool edges and hit the sloper lip. Match with a good right hand crimp, and press out a balancy mantle. I realized as I was doing it that it would've been nice to have a spotter...

From the BB, where it is graded V3 (app has it at V4)

Start with right hand on a jug about 7ft up and left hand on an sundercling edge about 5 ft up.

get on the rock and make a few moves before slapping the jug up and right.

Great fun movement, seems a little more V3 to me

Start on crimps about 5 feet up; a tough deadpoint is followed by an easy mantle

Operative word being smooth. Climb the featureless slab corner by gripping left around left arete, and smearing feet on tiny crystal nubs. Splendid line.

A sick boulder with cool features and pretty sustained difficulty.

Stand start on two horizontal crimps. Fire up and right to a bad crimp, then back left to a desperate mantle.

Once stood up, I traversed right to the big shelf and dropped off. Not sure if it originally topped out, the finishing slab is tall and dirty.

Low start to campus problem. Start matching anywhere below the start hold of “Campus Problem”. Think a bit outside the box for the beta; Top out will be crux if you do it right... Could very well be height dependent.

Prime Rib is among the most aesthetic granite boulders. It has an obvious standing start, powerful moves, immaculate stone, obvious topout finish, flat landing, and is tall enough to get the epinephrine flowing.

Start crouched on the right-facing crimp rail about 4 feet up. Climb perfect crimp rails to a difficult crux. Easy topout once you hit the jugs.

The original Will's Face problem starts sitting with your feet under the overhang.

From BB: Start on the jug under the roof and climb out to a tricky finish

This one may catch you with your pants down if you aren't big on technical movement. Start on the good holds at the 5-6 foot level on the arete, and work your way through amazing balancing moves up to a somewhat balancy topout.

Stout little mantle on sharp holds. Start matched on the crimp rail and press it out. Harder than Whiskey?

A lovely little problem on the Mini Maisch boulder. Start matched on an okay crimp, move up to a right hand sloper, then make a couple slaps with the left hand to the lip.

Start with LH in good slot under the roof and RH undercling. Go straight up (few feet right of first down)

Start matched on obvious sidepull. Move to the lip and then top out at the apex of the boulder. Once this cleans up a little more it will be a classic.

Climb corner like feature with big holds left of Further Notice and right of tree

Sit with low left hand side pull and high right hand side pull. Slap up to a bad sloper and into better holds. Top out is still dirty. Bring an old brush. Watch your head on the top out.

Nasty, nasty, nasty! Start matched with slopers on the lip of the boulder. Pull on and move right hand up to a sloper of choice, and press a ridiculous mantle.

A kneepad or shin guards might help with the pain on this one. Man it's so good!!!!!

Start from a pair of slopey edges and throw right hand to a good hold on the lip.  Do a hard mantel over the lip and then climb easy slab to top.

A sit start goes at V8.

Start with hands on obvious sloper rail, mantle straight up

Start on underclings at shoulder height using a sidepull and sloper on the left make a long reach to slopers at the lip and top out

Surprisingly fun little boulder, and maybe a little spooky. This starts as high as you can reach on the flake on the face, with high feet, and wherever you want your right hand. Press and stand into good holds, and then do a four point mantel onto a little perch 10 feet up the boulder. (you may be able to cut right, and just rock onto this thing, but it's one of the most unique mantels in the canyon).

Finish on one or two moves on crumbly stone to the top.

Start on rail (RH good crimp, LH ide pull), go LH to sharp crimp and either go again LH to top or RH to a sloper crimp.

Start with hands on crimps a few feet right of the left side of the Big East Boulder, and stand on the large shelf, climb straight up. Quite easy after the first few moves, but pretty fun to do one so tall.

Nice little number to get up and down the boulder.

Start hanging on sloper jugs about 4ft up, then enjoy a satisfying reach up to the lip and figure out a tricky mantle.

BB has this as Unamed V4, LCC app added Gluesicle name I think

Start by squeezing the boulder with a left hand on a bad pinch and right hand on the small dimples (refer to beta picture). Pull on...and move with either hand up the arete. This is a brilliant problem with classic LCC funk.  May feel easier if this is your preferred style or near impossible if not. Tough one to give a number grade for as when asking people received ranges from V8- to V10++.

Start on opposing sidepulls with bad feet. Make a couple of hard moves to slopey holds above the lip. Great problem!

From the BB: Starting in an undercut corner, jump start to sloper/crimp (do not stand on boulder below) then reach for good rh and top out.

There is a hard lower start from a LH udecling (or a small LH crimp) at head hight and a low RH undercling; probably in the v9 range.

One of the most feared highball boulders in LCC. Unlike other notables, such as KGB arete, Ready to Die, Prowler, or Blue Steel, the landing on this one is very poor. Not only are you high off the deck when you hit the crux (the last couple moves, I'd say), you are over two large funky boulders.

I'm trying to get away from highballs, but finally decided that if I was never going to boulder this, I could at least TR it. It was such a pleasure. There is a bolt on top that is barely useable (though someone hammered the hanger down to try to destroy it), and I backed up the TR with a cord to a tree behind.

If you are bouldering this, bon chance! The holds are all there. I'm sure you can do it. The rock can be a little slick, so careful not dry-firing off the holds at the very top.

Oh, and for those ambitious types, there is an even harder line that branches to the left on smaller holds that are farther apart (v7ish) that I TR'd clean today as well. After establishing on the two good crimps at 15 feet, it shoots up through left hand sidepulls to a thin crimp crux at the very top. To my knowledge, this has not been bouldered.

Totally unique. I have never done this move before.

Simple beta: Start on lightly textured rail on downhill side of cube. Fire up and then right into the dihedral.

More involved beta: I campused the start, and then leaned like hell into the glorious fin, making a couple tenuous moves to get established in it.

Super cool. Top ten favorite moderate problems in LCC. Just don't break your arm.

Sit down under the arete, with RH slimper and LH sidepull, and slap your way up.

From the BB. Start all the way at the back of the cave with right hand on a shelf, and left on a blocky hold to the left of the crack. Climb up the crack and out right up the ledge. Top out straight up or out right, about the same either way.

BB has this at V4, but it’s on the easier end if not a V3.

Nice crimpers in solid rock, but the starting position is in-obvious, and this detracts.

If you start matched on the down pulling crimp up on the right, the movement is best. It is possible to go lower on increasingly gnar edges, but it doesn't make it any more fun.

Start matched on undercling, cross over and grab the sharp crimp by your right shoulder with the left hand. Throw to the good crimp about 8 feet up with RH and then to the good sloper on the lip.

Alternatively, if you are 6.2+, reach the good crimp directly from undercling (see picture)

Further Right Variation: Also use the bad shoulder height crimp on the arete

A exceptionally good slab experience in a place that has great slab climbing.

You may find the crux to be most of the way up the wall, and just high enough to make you nervous. You'll need to commit to a couple of small feet to see it through.

Flat landing, obvious start on good edges, and obvious finish manteling onto the top.

Start on good crimp rail in the middle of the roof. Athletic moves lead to face climbing (watch out for the dab factor).

MB said this was called Papa Bell’s Arete, but it wasn’t published in the BB. Also known as Great White.

Climbs the tall NE arete on the triangular Boulder. Start with the left hand on the arete and a right hand in a shot hole about 7 feet up. Crux is in the middle, hands get tricky. Work your way up the arete to the top.

Going to the larger mono in the middle of the face with the right hand, then straight to one of the higher monos with the right makes it harder, solid V4, and more exciting!

Landing is good, but falling from the top is a long way.

Very hard to get off the ground, and once you're on the wall, you're in for a treat. Thin and committing up high, doesn't let up until you have your hands on the rail.

An excellent mantle shelf that was buried under a few inches of dirt. There are 3 variations, with the center being the best and hardest.

Left (V3):

Start on the good edge over the lip and pull yourself over. Surprisingly hard...

Center (V8):

An eliminate of sorts. Start hanging with right hand directly above the green streak, and left on another sloper. The good edge over left is off, and heel hooks feel improbable. Bust out a proper press that felt to be one of the hardest in the canyon.

Right (V1):

Starts just to the left of the right tree. Heel hook and rockover.

Solid mantle problem! Jump start to the jug scoop and press it out. The lower boulder is off.

Start on undercling rail, grab two small crimps at head height, then another small crimp with the RH and jump to the good hold on the lip

Another clean slab on the Cube, but this one is a bit heinous.

The crux is getting established on the wall. Start near the left arete with a left hand sidepull and a high one finger crystal for the right. Commit to a bad right foot and then work straight up on small edges, aiming for a big right hand sidepull feature. Escaping right is another option, though I think straight up is the natural line.

Surprisingly fun little problem on nice holds. Sit start with opposing slopers and work up the arete.

Cool moves on a couple of sharp holds. It should clean up a bit with some traffic.

Sit start down and left on a cool xeno crimp for your left hand and a bad edge for your right. Make tensiony moves trending up and right, and make a hard move to a jug edge off a nasty little crimp. I found the last move to the lip to be a surprisingly stout as well...

There could be another line going straight up from the same start, felt stout.
